I listened to the audiobook (over 24 hours in length) over the past 2 1/2 weeks. I typically prefer memoires/autobiographies, but this biography was really good. I found this book to be very well researched and perfectly organized.  I learned so much about Lewis and the amazing work he accomplished.  I knew he was on the bridge atvwhatcwe now know as Bloody Sunday, but knew nothing about his education and all of his work as a Senator. I highly encourage everyone to learn more about him.

How could this not be remarkable? The daily deterrents he confronted and overcame detailed here reenforces Lewis’s towering stature in the history of U.S. progress.
