The stories in this book are all well written and I enjoyed most of them. But of course, they are from some of the best authors in the field so that was expected.
What I did not like is that most of the author’s introductions contained spoilers.
I think he didn’t realize that a reader might not know a story at all, even if it’s a famous one, and even stating obvious facts about the plot might ruin the experience for fist-time readers. Or maybe he didn’t think the spoilers were big ones, but they sometimes changed the reader’s perspective.
Next time, I would suggest putting the author’s comments to the end, this way it would have been spoiler-free and he could have added much more information of his own, as it is clear that he is an expert about this topic.
For my fellow readers, I suggest stopping at the first paragraph, with some general info about the author, and them coming back to read the rest afterwards.
