I loved Real and Mine, but this was just... a lot of the same stuff from the other books - regurgitated. Remy and Brooke's view are one in the same.

I found myself rushing through the pasts to the present and the futures...

This is one story that should have had an epilogue but didn't.

Morbid curiosity of seeing inside Remy's head and it was just as bad as I thought. Possession and jealousy are not cute and the sex scenes were completely ridiculous. Nobody TALKS like that. Ugh. I swear that his thoughts are 95% about when he can have sex with Brooke and how hard she makes him. Completely ridiculous.

Why do I do this to myself? WHY?

I wanted to love this. But I just couldn't.
I loved Real. I loved Mine. And I should have loved Remy since it was almost the exact same book but in Remy's POV..
She should have just kept it in the present and not gone back through the past to tell his side of story. It's not much different than hers. I was just really disappointed..
I was also disappointed to see that the fourth and fifth books of the series are not about Brooke and Remy.. WTF.

Honestly, as someone who is bipolar and someone who struggles a bit differently, I do really enjoy reading this series. I find myself coming back to this story every couple years. I feel like this version of bipolar disorder is so beautiful and accepting and it makes me feel so much better about my own weaknesses. Sometimes it’s like I want to fall into my own depressive episodes but rereading your books can really help me and bring me back to my own present. They remind me of who I am and what I really want in life. So thank you for that, as someone who struggles a lot with identity issues.

Remy and Brooke have not had the easy relationship but they have survived. Read this book from Remy point of view, just opens your eyes to his world. Loving the Past and Present.

Katy Evans books rock and I would recommend this book.

Oh Remy...Remy, Remy, Remy...

I love him, it's true. This book has been long awaited and thank god it didn't let me down. The story itself is basically the best bits of Real and Mine combined with present day mentions of their church wedding. We don't really learn anything new but that's not to say that it's a pointless read. We hear about black Remy from the man himself and get to experience his extreme feelings for Brooke. The sex scenes from his POV are particularly hot and the fights are more enjoyable from his perspective.

Overall, I actually preferred Remy's take on events. I only wish that we'd seen more of them present day, but maybe that's just me being greedy. I still LOVE this series.

3.5 stars. Great closure to the couple's relationship. This not only has flashbacks of everything that happened in Real, but also gives updates on the couple several years in the future.
