It took me wayyy too long to understand where they were. To be fair I don't have any idiom or references from that place, but god did I laugh a lot reading this novel.
Terry Pratchett is still excellent, there's tension, survival, betrayal, half crazy old mages. What's not to love?
Do yourself a favor and read it.

I enjoyed this book. Am I coming up the raw prawn? Nah, mate. I enjoyed it. 'Strewth. Grab your woolly jumpers and a bowl of pie in pea soup and enjoy it.
Last Continent is a fun, Australian-reference fueled Pratchett classic. Recommended for all fans of Rincewind.
No worries.

Underwhelming generally with lots of Australian stereotypes. Redeemed by some nice world-building with the evolutionary god.
