This is my absolute FAVORITE of the amusing Princess in Black series. The series plays with the frilly-pink-girl-princess trope, though it doesn't belittle characters who like, say, unicorns or doughnuts. In fact, in the capable hands of Princess Magnolia and the, er, hoofs of Blacky the Pony, cuteness itself is a weapon!

I received a copy of The Princess in Black and the Hungry Bunny Horde by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale with illustrations by LeUyen Pham from Penguin Random House Canada in exchange for an honest review.
The Princess in Black and the Hungry Bunny Horde in the third book in The Princess in Black series. In this story, a horde of green and cute bunnies have shown up. When Princess Magnolia shows up, enroute to brunch with Princess Sneezewort, she's not quite sure what the problem is. The bunnies seem very cute and fluffy. But before she knows it, all the trees and grass have been eaten by the bunnies. And now the bunnies are looking for more food - is Princess Magnolia delicious to eat? In this story, a surprise hero comes in who is able to communicate with the bunnies before they end up eating absolutely everything and everyone.

In which we meet old friends, battle bunnies, and the day is saved by cuteness.
Such a good series.

I think I loved this one more than book 2. It had Princess Sneezewort making a small appearance and it had the Goat Boy and a scary cuteness factor.

Ravenously hungry and deceptively adorable bunny monsters? Sign me up! The Princess in Black's third adventure is super fast, funny, and fun.
