Congratulations to me for giving this book and author a shot!

This story follows Lady Grace Carrington as she seeks to escape an unwanted betrothal by asking the help of Lord Sebastian St. John, aka 'Sin', a man with a rather interesting reputation.

Who knew this quick and steamy little novella could turn out to be so sweet???? I'm not one to pick up romance books leaning towards erotica, but this one was such a pleasant surprise. Yes, there was an overwhelming amount of steam (and I enjoyed it) but the romance definitely didn't take a backseat.

Sin was such a sweet and protective hero who matched well with Grace, a heroine who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to do what she wants. Although their relationship started out physical, I loved how it progressed and so I rooted for this couple from start to finish.

This author is now a go-to for me for those times when I feel like diving into a historical romance but am on a bit of a time crunch. I'm eager to keep going with this series and this author's backlist as a whole!
