A surprisingly moving story for such a few pages. I fell in love with the heroine and deplored all others very quickly and was left feeling very sad with the whole situation.

It tells a lot about the period, and really shows how easily people will throw you under a bus for survival, but I kinda wish there was some kind of justice for Boule de Suif.
