Definitely not for the faint of heart if you are squeamish over body gore/horror!
Cannibalism is not usually in my list of possibilities for M.O., so I was SHOCKED when reading this.

Conquered my first Stephen King novel!! Very intersting read, but I think I should have read the others in the Holly Gibney series first as I feel there were many plot holes for me due to missing background. I thought it could be a standalone, but reading the others might’ve just enhanced the experience. Geriatric serial killer cannibals was such a fun gore to explore - and set during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic on top of it!! Epic!

This is very much not my usual genre but it was a decent mystery & horror novel! I did guess the ending with just over half of the book to go, which is a little disappointing to me personally. But I enjoyed a lot of the characters and like anything with a good puzzle. And now I can say I've actually finished a Stephen King novel!
