This one and the last one are definitely the best ones in the series as far as ive read them.
I thought the same thing as Tedros as first, that the snake was Lady Gremlaine’s son all along (which has not been denied?!) But I would not have guessed for Rhian to be the one claiming the throne at the end!
He was too good to be true after all

A very good start of a new series. #Agatha, #Tedros and #Sophie are dealing with more mature issues than the previous books in my opinion. Other than their love lives, Agatha and Tedros had to deal with bringing Camelot back to its former glory after King Arthur died. But all that could go wrong went wrong starting from Tedros coronation where he decoded rashly on things that his subjects were not ready for, adding to the problem was him being not able to pull the bloody sword EXCALIBUR!! Agatha and Tedros are really stretched so thin in this book and it hurts to read that. They didn't communicate well and it just makes me want to lock them in a room and have them deal.with their issues!! I missed Agatha's spunk and feistiness. She became too cautious around Tedros it's so damn frustrating! Then there's Tedros ,yes people are criticizing every inch of him but he let it get to him. Sometimes he's a fumbling idiot! He ignored his princess and his decisions weree impulsive, which lead to catastrophe! For example, Lancelot. Not gonna say more but he screwed that somehow.
Then Sophie. She was annoying as hell!!!I know she is the Dean of Evil and it is a given that her attitude is evil. But I like Hort and the Coven. SO I just don't like her. She also has the worst luck in men!
I knew that #Rhian guy is too good to be true. He has villain written all over his face!!! But sadly the crew along with Agatha and Tedros, and most especially Sophie fell for it. Rhian will make her his queen whether she likes it or not.
They all fell prey in his elaborate scheme. In other words, they are all in deep trouble.
I need the next #book.
This made me feel all sorts of #emotions!I went from laughing, gushing, excited to being completely annoyed, frustrated, sad and angry. I like that in a book 🤣🤣🤣
4.5★ out of 5 for me.
I hope badass Agatha comes back, this tamed version of her sucks.

4.75. Really exciting installment of the series. I realize it's middle grade/lower high school so perhaps that's why some plot points were a bit obvious, but it was a great ride.

I don't really know what to think. I just finished it, and I am kind of mad at the book right now. I did not like the ending one bit. 568 pages, and I swear the story ended in the middle. Now I have to get the next book to find out what happens (not always a bad thing to need to read another book). The previous three books all felt like compete books where I didn't need another book to find out what happened, but this one did not end the same way. This one doesn't feel complete, and it kind of annoys me.
The book did start off slow. It took it a bit before the action started happening. Once that went into effect, it actually got really good. I thought I had an idea how things would play out as I continued to read. My assumptions weren't entirely wrong considering there is an obvious twist that happens in the book, but I didn't like that it didn't fully play out. I still have questions about some of the other parts that I'm curious about. Hopefully, they will get answered in the next book.
As always, the characters are awesome. I always see reviews for other books that talk about character development and how deep a character has become. I'm just amazed that the author can create such a shallow character like Sophie while still making her amazing complex. I don't like that Agatha and Tedros keep having issues since they are supposed to be together, or at least that how it feels that it has been written.
My favorite characters are still the three witches. Dot always makes me jealous with her ability to turn stuff into chocolate. I think I need a skill like that. I'm not sure what I think about Nicola. She seems to think highly of herself, and I know a few people in real life that I just want to smack, so that is how I viewed her.
All in all I'm glad I read it, and I do look forward to the next even if I am mad at how the story ends in this one (or should I say pauses?). The world this is set in is just so amusingly twisted from what people usually think of when they think of fairy tales and not in the Brothers Grimm sort of fashion. This world has its own twists that take that even a step further, which is probably why I enjoy reading these books.
