The lack of communication was getting to me

There were a few things that didn't match up in this story such as the terrible trio, my understanding is they were pretty much friends at the end of book 3. Other than that this was a cute little story.

This was a cute story about Lily's best mer-friend Peri. I might have enjoyed it more had I read it around the time I read the series, it took me a little bit to remember certain things and get back into the story but by the end I was enjoying it.

Also I wish the breaks in the chapters were more clearer, I'd be reading about her doing one thing and then suddenly she'd be off somewhere else and I'd realize that we were switching to a different scene.
