informative medium-paced

Great addition to other manifestation books. A bit dense but still good reinforcing.
challenging tense slow-paced

This audio-book is a bit weird. It started with this long tangent on why we should pray, before being quite scientific about the psychology of telling yourself that you are good enough. I don’t think “scientific prayer” is a thing, nor do I think that it should be a thing.

There are maybe 2 or 3 good ideas in this book, but they are wrapped so deeply in “divine quest” and “faith” and “Jesus” that they are completely unusable (at least to me). There is also something deeply disturbing about a book from 1963 talking about psychology and science. Maybe my train of thought is simply to deeply rooted in atheism, but this book made me uncomfortable. This is one of the best selling books of all time, and it says that the only way to become healthy and heal from a wound; is faith (wtf). I wonder what long-lasting negative impacts this has had on society and medicine.

I think this book could be worth reading if you have read a lot of other self-help books that are newer. The book does offer some interesting perspectives on sleep that are very much still relevant in newer literature. In general, stay away from this book.

I didn't necessarily learn anything new in this book, but something about the way the points are illustrated really made them hit home for me in a new way. Great read!
informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

I’m fascinated by these older books about the power of our thoughts. They each say the same things a little differently. This one was particularly good. I recommend it.

A MUST Read!

Thought provoking

I listened to the audio version of this title narrated by Sean Pratt. I listened at 1.25 speed.
I believe the narrator had good tone and volume.
I was very disappointed in the book. The author took biblical principles, and while giving credit for some of them to the bible, twisted them for a secular audiance.

The whole idea of the book is, Whatever you desire just ask your subconscious mind and believe in it and your subconscious mind will make it happen.

But how? Why? When?

A beautiful masterpiece!

This is one of those books to be read at least once a month! I'm a huge advocate for being mindful of our inner dialogue and the words that we speak to ourselves. We really do create our own reality.
